Villa Taranto Botanical Gardens Foundation “Capt. Neil McEacharn”

The Villa Taranto Botanical Gardens Authority “Capt. Neil McEacharn” is a private-law, non-profit entity, not subject to public control, established on June 20, 1963.

The Foundation’s primary purpose is the management, under concession, of the publicly owned property complex known as “Villa Taranto,” located in Verbania, in continuity with the donation made by Captain Neil McEacharn.

The Foundation also promotes, develops, and manages tourist, cultural, social, educational, research, training, and agricultural activities and services within the Botanical Gardens and in other areas of Verbania, Lake Maggiore, and the national territory, in accordance with the purposes and limits set out in the Statute.
