From 15 to 21 June: extraordinary blooms, music and wellbeing
Following the success of the opening events, Summer Garden 2026 continues with a new week of experiences designed to help visitors enjoy the Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto in an authentic and engaging way. From 15 to 21 June, nature, culture and wellbeing come together in a programme that invites guests of all ages to explore the Gardens’ botanical and landscape heritage through a variety of activities and events.
The week begins on Tuesday, 16 June, with a double programme: at 9:15 a.m., the wellness session “Yoga: A Return to Yourself”, followed at 6:30 p.m. by “At Least Mia in the Universe”, a recital dedicated to the unforgettable Mia Martini.
On Wednesday, 17 June, at 7:30 p.m., visitors will have the opportunity to take part in one of the most evocative experiences of the entire season: “The Secret Corners of the Gardens”, an exclusive after-hours guided tour led by the Botanical Curator, offering access to hidden locations, fascinating botanical insights and unique perspectives not usually available to the public.
The wellbeing programme continues on Thursday, 18 June, with Morning Hatha Yoga and “Awakening: Meditation” at 6:30 p.m., and on Friday, 19 June, at 9:15 a.m. with “Kashmir Non-Dual Yoga”. These practices are designed to encourage mindfulness, balance and a deeper connection with the surrounding natural environment.
The Garden Talks will also return, taking place on Friday, 19 June at 2:30 p.m. in the Herbarium Room, with a second session on Saturday, 20 June at 10:30 a.m. Through stories, insights and curiosities about the Gardens’ collections, these short educational talks offer visitors the opportunity to discover Villa Taranto’s botanical heritage from a new perspective.
On Saturday, 20 June, at 9:15 a.m., visitors can once again take part in “Yoga: A Return to Yourself”, an ideal way to begin the day surrounded by the peace and beauty of the Gardens.
Adding to the charm of this period is the appearance of the Victoria Cruziana, the majestic giant water lily that returns each June to provide one of the most spectacular botanical displays of the summer season, attracting visitors and enthusiasts alike.
All events are included in the regular admission ticket to the Gardens or with the seasonal pass and will take place subject to weather conditions.
