In recent weeks, the new season of the Gardens, titled Summer Garden 2026 – Well-being Begins from Nature, has officially opened: a project designed to enhance the Gardens throughout the year and strengthen their role as a privileged place for natural, cultural, and social well-being.
The initiative aims to transform a visit into a complete experience, capable of bringing together environment, body, and mind. The Gardens are no longer simply a place for leisure, but become a vibrant and contemporary setting where extraordinary botanical beauty intertwines with activities dedicated to well-being, knowledge, and engagement.
The project unfolds through a rich and diverse programme that includes cultural events, wellness practices, light sporting activities, scientific talks, themed visits, and publications. All activities are framed within a coherent and recognizable vision, based on values such as care, quality of time, listening, and regeneration.
The Gardens have always been the main attraction, thanks to their exceptional floral richness and the diversity and rarity of botanical species from around the world, in line with the original vision of Captain Neil McEacharn, who conceived them as a place of harmony between people and nature. Walking along the paths, immersing oneself in colours and scents, and experiencing the landscapes: every visit is, in itself, a deeply regenerating experience.
Building on these foundations, Summer Garden 2026 not only enhances the existing heritage but enriches it through a range of initiatives—cultural and beyond—designed to amplify the natural benefits of the place. The goal is to guide visitors towards a more conscious, slower, and deeper experience, transforming their time in the Gardens into a complete sensory and cultural journey.
The programme combines physical and natural wellness activities—including yoga, meditation, mindful walking, gentle awakening exercises, and outdoor fitness—with a cultural, artistic, and scientific offering that features concerts, recitals, theatre performances, talks, and guided visits.
Starting from Saturday, June 6, psycho-physical wellness activities will be offered in the mornings from Monday to Saturday, from 9:15 am to 10:15 am, as well as on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. These sessions will include yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, and mindful movement practices, designed to foster a deeper connection with oneself and with nature.
From June 9, every Tuesday evening from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm will also feature cultural events, including theatre, recitals, opera and jazz concerts, as well as readings from Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.
Throughout the season, special events will also be organized, such as the initiative held on March 25 for Dantedì and the event on August 12 dedicated to the total solar eclipse.
Summer Garden 2026 – Well-being Blossoms from Nature thus takes shape as a cultural and sensory journey, strengthening the emotional bond between visitors and the Gardens, and consolidating their identity as a regenerative space and a key attraction where nature, culture, and well-being come together.
