Ente Giardini Botanici Villa Taranto Cap. Neil McEacharn is a non-profit organization.

Established on 20 June 1963, the Organization obtained recognition as a legal entity (Moral Entity) with a decree from the Prefect of Novara, Number 2562/18/6 of 09/05/1964 and among its statutory purposes are those to:

1. manage the state-owned complex “Villa Taranto” for cultural, scientific and educational purposes in the botanical and agricultural fields and specifically to maintain and improve the current characteristics of the complex itself as much as possible;
2. promote, with all appropriate means, the teaching of gardening and the development of botanical sciences, the scientific enhancement of the site and the organization of conferences and study conventions;
3. collaborate in the development of tourism in the area.

The organization DOES NOT RECEIVE ANY KIND OF PUBLIC FUNDING.
