TULIP WEEK
Event which, this year, will take place from the 18th to the 25th of April. Especially in this period, you will become eyewitness of a real spectacular and sparkling firework of colours with over 80.000 bulbs in flower. Among these, the unquestioned star is the tulip flower. In the Tulip’s Maze you can marvel at over 65 varieties; relating to colours and forms among these stands out the coveted black tulip "Queen of night" and the imposing "Big chief", the corolla of which reaches a diameter of almost 10 centimetres.

“TASTING WALK” THROUGH THE PARK
A Sunday of May. Possibility of tasting food-and-wine products typical of the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. In case of bad weather, the event will be put off to a later date.

TOURIST IN YOUR TOWN
On Saturday 8th May, on the Feast of S. Victor, all the residents in Verbania will have the possibility of visiting the gardens for free.

PERMANENT DAHLIA EXHIBITION
From the last decade of July until late October, in the Dahlia Maze, you can marvel at over 1500 plants, subdivided in 350 varieties, which create a play of colours, dimensions and forms that is incomparable with any other floral essence. Among these jut out the “Decoratives” with big flowers, and particularly the impressive “Emory Paul”; the inflorescences of which exceed 25 centimetres of diameter; and the “Pompons”, among which we would like to mention the “Little William”; its globe-shaped flower heads, similar to a bees’ nest, sometimes do not even reach the 20 mm of diameter.

"EDITORIA E GIARDINI"
This review organized, in the month of September, by the “Comune di Verbania”, will give the participants the possibility of visiting the park accompanied by our botanical manager, who will illustrate the peculiarities of the whole garden.
